A few weeks back i went along to the ‘Your Brain on Ping Pong’ show at the Natural History museum. It was remarkable to see people playing underneath a life sized replica of a blue whale but the highlight was a talk Dr Wendy Suzuki gave. She explained how the brain functions on ping pong and why it’s such a good sport for eggheads. There is a small piece on ABC news here or you can watch a longer edit of the talk that I put together. Warning - you may never think about sport in the same way again and it features a real live brain. For reals.
